Facebook said,

Australian news publisher can continue to publish news on Facebook platform, but that news can't be viewed by Australian people.

Facebook announced Thursday it has blocked Australians from viewing and sharing news on platform because of passed laws in country that make digital giants pay for journalism or publishing news.

In statement company said that Australian news publisher can continue to share the news on platform but Australian viewers can not show that news or they can not share that news.

Also outside of Australia, international user also can not share the Australian news on Facebook platform.

Facebook regional managing director William Easton said,

"The proposed law fundamentally misunderstands the relationship between our platform and publisher who use it to share news content" .
