A large number of tweeter user demand Bharat Ratna Award for Ratan Tata to the Indian Government. Ratan Tata, The legendry Indian businessman and a kind hearted man. for now Ratan Tata said that this tweeter campaign should end and he is happy to contribute in India's growth.
In statement Ratan Tata said " While I appreciate the sentiments expressed by a section of the social media in term of an award, I would humbly like to request that such campaigns be discontinued". Also added that "Instead, I consider myself fortunate to be an Indian to try and contribute to India's growth and prosperity"
Ratan Naval Tata is an Indian industrialist, philanthropist, and a former chairman of Tata Sons. He was also chairman of Tata Group, from 1990 to 2012, and again, as interim chairman, from October 2016 through February 2017, and continues to head its charitable trusts.
He continues to head the main two Tata trusts Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and Sir Ratan Tata Trust and their allied trusts, with a combined stake of 66% in Tata Sons, Tata group's holding company.
