Sri Lanka's Ministry of Public Security has been taken on 'national security' grounds for burqa ban but Nepal's Ministry of Public Security statement is quite Islamophobic.
The Statement :
Public Security Minister announced that wearing burqa in public places in many Islamic states will ban, was a threat to Sri Lanka's national security.
"Burqa is something that directly affect the national security of Sri Lanka", also added that When I was younger, I used to see that no one was wearing a burqa here. This came into Sri Lanka only recently. It is symbol of their religious extremism.
Understanding The Issue :
In the past, when the bomb blast exploded in Sri Lanka, the government blamed local jihadists, at that time in April 2019 government prohibited the wearing of burka for a temporary but ban removed after some time.
But now wearing burqa in public places will ban permanently, for that government ready with full plan of 2 year to 'Deradicalisation' Detention of terror suspects, Bans Burqa.
Details :
The moves come ahead of the second anniversary of the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks that killed 279 people and wounded over 500.
The coordinated suicide bombings, against three churches and three high-end hotels, were blamed on a local Islamic extremist group.
Sri Lankan government wants to promote tourism in a way that the bomb blasts in 2019 is a rare incident, now our country is completely safe for tourism and it's good for revive the country's economy.
What about the Islamic school shut down?
Sri lankan government may says that in this school teaching was absolutely religious, the school teaches on its own, it will no longer work!
